Santa

The official visit with Santa

Not at all nervous

Not only was he not nervous but he brought his notebook with 1 1/2 pages of wishes in it!!! Santa read every line too (he's the best). After they read the first page, Dawson turned it & Santa said "oh, this must be your list", talking to Belle. Dawson told him, NO, it's still his! So funny:) Santa did explain that he can't have everything on his list!

A little nervous

Belle was a little nervous at first with Santa. She did tell him that she wants pink goggles for Christmas but that's all she asked for!

I'm sure he'll bring them!!!

Baseball's over

Another season is over & Dawson's not sure he'll play again. He absolutely loves his trophies!

Update on Tooth Fairy

She did come & left $5 in exchange for the tooth! He was VERY happy with his discovery this morning. He said the Tooth Fairy must be rich now (we told him how much we got when we were kids)!!! He's saving for something big but doesn't know what yet....

Tooth

The tooth is out! Dawson is so happy that he finally lost a tooth. It was very loose & he's been asking for a couple of days for us to help get it out. Yesterday morning Wes was able to pull it right out. I sure hope the Tooth Fairy came last night!

Dawson is a Pirate

Dawson playing baseball as a Pirate this season.

Bubbles & Belle

I think this pic is cute...she's ready for dance class & blowing bubbles with her pig.

Ballet

Belle started Tap & Ballet classes a few weeks ago. Looks like I could have done a better job on her hair for the day I chose to snap pics!

Scouting

At the pack meeting last week, Dawson got special recognition for winning the PS3 the first week of selling popcorn. We're hoping he makes it to a level to earn a college scholarship now. We are SO proud of him. He's worked very hard. You have until the beginning of November to order your popcorn from him, let me know if you need to see the choices! Yes, mom wants him to get the scholarship the most!

Betsy Ross & Uncle Sam

The kids dressed up for the Scout Pack meeting. Belle was Betsy Ross & Dawson was Uncle Sam. They were to cute!

Dawson with teeth (10-18-08)

Dawson finally got his first loose tooth (bottom left) last Thursday. By Sunday, he had 3 loose! Both bottom front are loose & the top left front! Guess by Christmas he'll be toothless! Yes, he had a baseball game, hence the eye-black & yes, his hair is colored! We went to the fair earlier & he wanted his hair sprayed red on one side & black on the other. Go Dawgs!

Zipline

Our friends have a zipline in their backyard & the kids had a blast on it! Thanks Byron & Kathryn!

Geocaching

We went geocaching recently & it was a LOT of fun! If you don't know what it is, you get coordinates off a website & have to go out searching for these boxes. There are mostly small items for the kids in them. You can take something out & leave something for the next one who finds it. It was like a treasure hunt for the kids. A great way to spend time together as a family!

Belle turns 4

So hard to believe our baby has turned 4! She is so beautiful, if I must say so myself!!!

Braves game

Sept. 21, 2008 -- Scout Day at the Braves game. We all got to walk the field before the game. This is the first game Belle ever went to. They both enjoyed the peanuts more than anything! I've never sat up so high in my life! They had a good time.

Belle LOVES being on the boat! She yells for Daddy to "go faster"! She isn't so much into fishing (yet) but loves the water & the boat & I think she really just loves going fast!!!

Daddy's little fisherman

We camped in south Georgia at Lake Blackshear the first weekend in March. Dawson, Wes & Brian were in a fishing tournament there. They won last year but not again this year. However, Dawson did catch a big fish, had a great time & was very proud of it.

Our new addition

Can you believe we got a kitty? Belle has wanted one forever & we finally gave in & got the cutest kitty! He really is sweet & beautiful. Hope he grows up to be a great companion for the kids. Dawson wasn't sure he even wanted him but now he loves him the most I think!

What little snow we got!

January 19 -- This was about the most snow we got. It barely covered the ground & wasn't enough for the kids to play in. They did go on the back deck & play in it some. No snowman this year:(
